スケジュールを調整した結果，今日を逃したら行けなさそうだったので，急遽，予定変更。毎日，一眼レフのカメラを持ち歩いていたことが初めて報われたような気がする (あくまでも気のせいだけれど)。

想像していたとおりのガンダムが目の前に立っていた。感動するよりも確認といった感じ。違和感をまったく感じなかった。子どもの頃から，何度も頭に思い描いたからだろう。

誤解しないで欲しいのだが，想像どおりだからといって，目前のガンダムの魅力は変わらない。むしろ，その建造 (否，建築か) の技術に感動した。できれば一日中，ぼんやりと眺めていたい。
